5onny
5onny, born Cory Medlock, is a hip hop recording artist hailing from the south side of Chicago. He began writing music at the young age of 9 years old. After taking a step away to explore other facets of life including college, 5onny found himself back writing and recording music again. Since then has begun to create quite a buzz from his energetic “rockstar” style, performances, along with a melodic, yet unique delivery. 5onny has most certainly begun to carve his own lane musically. Aside from performing all over Chicago, 5onny’s weekly series of freestyles entitled “Living Room Raps” has caught the attention of many across the city while creating quite a buzz across social media platforms. 5onny looks to follow up that success with his latest project “I Heart Trill”, a more introspective album which gives the audience a more personal view into the world of 5onny.
